Finding Clyde is often like a hard “Where’s Waldo” page.  One minute he’s there and the next he’s not.  We like to keep him busy out in the field ~ otherwise he comes into the office and “refiles” our paperwork.  When not driving all over town in his zippy little van Clyde spends time hanging out with his lovely wife and his two doggies.

The axle for the wheel, the eye of the hurricane, the center of HELP’s universe.  She will awnser all of your questions and get your paperwork done.  You’d better be nice to her; she’s the gateway to Clyde, Berenice and Roma.  She’s also so bossy she’d tell Donald Trump “You’re Fired.”

Jaime: Guy in Charge

Got a question on the job site?  Jaime’s your guy.  He keeps the crew in line and working hard.  In fact, he keeps himself so busy that he doesn’t have time for pesky things like actually taking his BPI tests though he’s completed the class and all the field work.  And yes Jaime, that’s a hint. Seriously.  Schedule that test.

Carmy: Pied Piper

Carmy

Besides being a duct sealing guru Carmy’s also our resident rat finder.  If there are vermin in your crawlspace Carmy’s the one that they will flock to.  Don’t tell PETA but she’s “accidentally” taken out one or two with her big boots.  When not sealing ducts, running to grab supplies or dealing with rats Carmy can be found hanging out with her lovely family.

Got a crawlspace that uses the term “crawl” literally? Javier’s your guy.  He can get into spaces so tight that it will amaze you.  He also insulates attics so fast you can blink and miss it.

Daniel: Insulation Super Star

One of the organization’s Berenice is involved with is Constructing Hope.  One day she went to a meeting and met a couple of guys looking for work.  Daniel was one of them.  What can we say?  They clicked and he joined our little family.  He’s now an insulation installer superstar.

Vito: Da Man

Vito

Need your home air sealed?  Need wall insulation? Vito’s da man.  He’s so handy not only with the insulation process but also with getting your walls back to (or better than) the condition they were before the process.  He’s got drywall and painting skills like no other.

Roma: “Where are those reciepts?”

Roma’s our “easy going” accountant… don’t be fooled by it, she really knows her numbers.  No petty cash believer.  HELP will not need financial HELP as long as we have ROMA.  When we can steal her away from her other jobs (yes, jobs with an “s”) and ferrying her kids from one activity to another, that is.

Pepe: Mr Fix It… Even if it’s not broken

Pepe doesn’t say much, but he smiles a lot.  Pepe knows it all and is not afraid of small spaces, even if he gets stuck.  “Toolaholics Anonymous” anyone?  He’s constantly picking up new and improved toys.  I mean tools.  Right they’re tools.

Rodrigo: Mr. Nice

Rodrigo

Rodrigo’s a cleanup guy.  He hauls all the junk and debris away from our job sites ~ and smiles all the while.  Ask him for anything and he’ll do it.

Dave

Dave the window man. What can we say? He can measure and install windows in no time flat. Comes with his own set of handy-dandy window installation tools.

Rodrigo Jr. (Rodrigoito)

Rodrigo has a combination of muscle and youth to help keep the work site going. He is also very handy when it comes to installing insulation. Always ready to get the work done.

Parker: OSHA Guru

Parker spends most of his time at H.E.L.P. doing whatever is needed to keep the office going. Whether that is filing, answering phones, or the always important coffee runs Parker does it all. Parker can usually be found at the office with a smile on his face.

Daniel F.

He knows how to walk the streets spreading the good news of energy efficiency. Daniel can hammer lawn signs like nobody’s business. He also doubles as the bilingual office help and is a common face at local community meetings.

David: AKA Milusos

The man with a thousand abilities. There is no job he too big or small, he does it all. Like a magician of weatherization, he always has something up his sleeve to help get the job done.

He comes with 10 years’ experience in the construction industry and has worked with some big outdoor companies like Patagonia. But don’t let that fool you, Brian isn’t all work and no play. He loves being outdoors and running rivers in his time off.
